Choosing the right specialist for you
Choosing the right specialist is an important step in your healthcare journey. We’re here to help you feel confident and empowered in selecting the consultant best suited to your condition, priorities, and expectations.

Paying for your care
Private healthcare can be paid for in two main ways: self-pay or through private health insurance. At Welbeck, we accept both payment types, and our team is here to guide you through what to expect and the steps to take before your appointment.

We aim to offer appointments as quickly as possible, and many services have same-day or next-day availability. Waiting times vary depending on the appointment type, specialty, and consultant availability, but our team will always offer the earliest suitable appointment.
Yes. You can arrange an appointment for a family member, or someone you care for, just let us know when you get in touch. We’ll need their details and consent to complete the booking, unless you're their legal guardian or have power of attorney.
Yes. If you’d like a chaperone to be present during your appointment, please let your centre know before your appointment, and they’ll be happy to arrange this for you. You’re also welcome to bring a partner, friend, or family member with you for your visit. There may be some cases where the clinical setting requires your chaperone to wait in the waiting area for part of your visit, for example, if you’re having imaging tests. Your centre will let you know in advance if this is the case.
All our waiting areas offer complimentary refreshments, including hot drinks and water. The spaces are calm and comfortable, designed to help you relax before your appointment.
Yes. All our centres are fully wheelchair accessible, with step-free entry and lifts to every floor.
Yes. Let the centre know before your visit if you’d like an interpreter, and this can be arranged for you through LanguageLine.
Interpretation is typically provided over the phone. If an in-person translator is preferred, this can also be arranged, although this may be subject to an additional fee.
